While I do have some experience Robinhood lets you get started with as little as $5. I do recommend saving up at least $1000 before you get started with it.
Trading Cryptocurrency is another way to earn a decent amount through your phone. Coinbase has been my go to for trading Bitcoin specifically. In the last 12 months I’ve profited around 5-7k trading Bitcoin alone. Similar to stock trading there is a learning curve here, but long term it would be beneficial to learn trading.
