So there has definitely been some resistance with retailers when it comes to making apple pay accessible in stores. One of the big retailers cvs will not go along with this for example. A big and obvious reason is that they simply do not want to share credit card processing revenue with apple. However with consumers spending upwards of six hundred dollars on there iphones they expect retailers to go along with this, and not put up any resistance. The current stores available for apple pay are as follows. Aeropostale, Babies R Us, BJ’s, Bloomingdale’s, Champs Sports, Chevron, Duane Reade, ExtraMile, Foot Locker, FootAction, House of Hoops, Kids Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Macy’s, McDonald’s, Nike, Office Depot, Panera Bread, Petco, RadioShack, Run by Foot Locker, Six:02, Sports Authority, Subway, Texaco, Toys R Us, Unleashed, Walgreens, Wegmans, Whole Foods. As more stores become available for apple pay we will update our list.
