If your wondering if the Samsung Galaxy A80 is worth buying I can tell you its a beast. This phone has a massive 6.7 super amoled display that’s great for watching video and playing mobile games. After personally using this phone for the last seven days I will give you my thoughts on its overall performance. You can also check out some of the latest pricing for it here.
Design
The design on the Galaxy A80 is impressive. It has gorilla glass on the front of it to match an all glass backing. Samsung has stayed pretty in sync with its designs being all glass and the A80 is no exception. You will have 3 different color options being ghost white, phantom black, and angel gold. Bottom line the phone looks great.
- All Glass Design
- Gorilla Glass On Front
Display
The big 6.7 inch super amoled display is where this phone really shines. If your into watching Netflix, or Youtube videos your probably not going to find a better phone. It has a no notch front display meaning you get all of it. That’s right finally an all display phone which actually gives you the whole display. You can watch our above video for reference.
- Huge 6.7 Super Amoled Display
- Great for Watching Video
Camera
If your wondering if the Samsung Galaxy A80 is worth buying for its camera it currently boasts 48mp. This was a very ambitious move on Samsung’s part that I can say paid off well. It has a 3 lens design on the back of it that takes some stunning pictures. It also records in 4k as well. While the reviews have been mixed I’ve found it to be one of the best for the price point Samsung is selling this phone at.
- 48mp Back Camera
- 3 Lens Design
Processor
The processor on this phone is what most seem to think is one of its biggest let downs. It has a Snapdragon 730 processor built in which is far less superior to the Galaxy S10. However I saw no issues with speed or performance using it thus far.
- Snapdragon 730
- Speed Is Solid
Final Thoughts
So if your wondering if the Samsung Galaxy A80 is worth buying I would absolutely tell you yes. It currently sells for around $600 which is a bit more than you’d pay for a mid range phone. However the big super amoled display, and great camera definitely make up for the extra cost. You can check out the latest pricing on it here.
