The Samsung Galaxy A12 at first glance might look like a budget phone but its so much more. Just looking at it you’d expect it to cost more than its $200 dollar price tag. Samsung realizes not everyone wants to spend upwards of $700 on their flagship phones. That’s why it makes total sense they would try and get people at both ends of the market.

Design
The Galaxy A12 has a textured plastic backing and glass front. It comes in 4 different colors black, white, red, and blue. The phone comes with a big 6.5 inch IPS display that looks great for watching video and gaming. However it does have a small notch at the bottom. Its hardly noticeable but still there.
Camera
This might be one of the best phones at this price for taking pictures. It comes with a 48 mega pixel back camera, and can record in 1080p at 30fps. You also get some nice ultra wide features for taking close up shots as well. Overall its an impressive camera.
Processor
Okay this is going to be the only downside to getting the Galaxy A12. It comes with a Mediatek Helio P35 processor that isn’t the fastest. With that said it will still play high graphic games like COD Mobile, but the load times for getting some of these games started can be annoying. If you can look past that fact than hey this phone is still a huge bargain.
Final Thoughts
The Galaxy A12 is a big step up from its little brother the Galaxy A11. It has a big screen, solid camera, and attractive price point. The A12 will be a contender for one of the best budget phones for this year I have no doubt. If you would like to check out the latest pricing on it click here.
