Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G Review – Is It Worth Buying?

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 5G is the new talk of the town. And, we could not agree more with the hype! The modern look and latest features truly make this a dream phone. However, the phone is possibly, by far, the right launch of the year amidst terrible situations. The timings are unfortunate as it is coming off as too heavy on the pocket when recession is on the rise. However, we cannot deny that Samsung truly outdone themselves and went as premium as it could possibly go. With a beautiful screen, so much power and excellent video resolution make it a true sensation. Before we move on, let’s have quick round up of the specs:

Design and Screen Size

The phone’s design is quite different from most phones nowadays. It has a slimmer design and comes with sleek lines and increased endurance. Speaking of this, the matte bronze finish adds to its uniqueness and style. If we may say, its design, structure and color makes it for a gorgeous phone.

Samsung reworked the design to formulate a stainless steel mid-frame to enhance durability when earlier aluminum was the popular choice. The matte bronze color blows off fingerprints and improves the overall look. It has two more colors in addition to mystic bronze, namely mystic green and mystic gray.  The brassy and rosy sheen is surely an attractive feature!  On top of this, it is a super-premium and a do-everything device that only makes it more appealing. And, of course, the screen size! You would enjoy using this phone with an exceptional 6.9-inch screen. The overall display is a clever marriage of Note style geometry with S20s. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G promises the brightest AMOLED touch-screen of all times.
The phone makes it easy to screenshot as you can do so by simply waving the pen across the screen. Furthermore, you can sign official documents as you can write on a PDF easily using the pen. Not only this, but you can also use the pen to snap the perfect selfie.

Camera

The phone comes with a triple camera, which is 12 MP (wide) in combination with 64 MP (telephoto). Moreover, it also offers a 3x optical zoom in addition to 30x hybrid zoom plus 12 MP (ultra wide). The hybrid optic zoom also brings together high-resolution image sensors and lens. Speaking of this, the phone also comes with a single camera at the front of 10 MP (wide). This facilitates Dual Video Call with Auto-HDR.
The selfie camera is much better and captures a sharp, crisp and clear image even if you take it in a dimly lit room.

Battery Life

A non-removable Li-Ion 4300 mAh battery powers the smartphone. In addition to this, the battery features fast charging 45W + Fast Qi/PMA alongside wireless charging 15W plus Reverse wireless charging 9W.
Overall, it is safe to term it as a phone whose battery delivers satisfactory endurance. However, it is not large as the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, powered by a 5000 mAh pack. Its battery should be able to get you through the day conveniently. Honestly, everything depends on how you use it. To put things in perspective, the phone offers a strong battery life with enough juice left that you do not have to frantically run to look for a socket to put it on charge before it succumbs.

Price

You will definitely enjoy the sleek design and the features the phone has to offer but whether or not you are willing to pay $1300 is entirely up to your choice. We can tell that you can rest assured that the phone checks off all the specs and boxes in the list. However, the decision ultimately is yours to make!
Considering the uncertainty this COVID-19 pandemic has washed down on all of us, if you are looking to reserve your money and limit the spending this year and save your splurge for the time when you have more certainty and freedom, a phone of $1300 might prove to be a not-so good decision. A number of other excellent devices are available for under $1,300 that might get you through until you are ready to spend this amount on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G.

Final Thoughts

The Galaxy Note 20 5G is a beautiful phone. It has a large screen for watching video and gaming. You will also get one of the best camera’s of any Samsung phone currently out. I would have to say its definitely worth buying, and would not even hesitate to buy it again. You can check out the latest pricing on it here.
