The Pathless is my new favorite addiction. This is easily one of the best Apple Arcade games to come out this year. The Pathless is an action rpg style game that looks gorgeous. It’s been classified as a mythical adventure game that comes from developer Giant Squid. What’s interesting about this game is that it was also released on PC, PS4, and PS5. We’ve also had the chance to test the game out on the new Iphone 12. I can tell you it plays great. Watch the video directly below to see if it lives up to the hype!
The Pathless sees players taking on the role of The Hunter who has to travel to a mystical island to rid the world of a curse that threatens everyone.
Along the way, they’ll have to forge a connection with an eagle who will assist them in hunting corrupted spirits. Their journey will take them through misty forests and ancient ruins as they hunt for secrets, solve puzzles and take part in battles.
Bottom Line The Pathless is the next great indie adventure. Whether the joy you take from it is in its unique and super-slick traversal mechanics, or the arresting world and faultless artistry, there’s no denying that Giant Squid has absolutely nailed this one.
