In our Samsung Galaxy S9 gaming review we chose to play 3 of the hottest games being Shadowgun Legends, Tekken, and Marvel Contest of Champions. We felt each one of these games would help showcase how awesome this phone really is. Having had some time to spend playing games on the s9 I can tell you its as good as it looks. One of the best things about gaming on the Samsung Galaxy S9 is the beautiful curved OLED edge display. The screen on this phone is also very shatter resistant from drops / scratches and is waterproof. You should still be using a glass screen protector as you can see we did in the above video.
Another great thing about gaming on the Samsung Galaxy S9 is the phones speed. It has a Samsung 10nm Exynos 9810 CPU processor that makes playing games lightning fast with little to no lag whatsoever. It also has one of the brightest screens of any smartphone currently with amazing surround sound speakers to enhance any gaming experience.
We also have to point out that loading times for just about any game you play will be much faster. This has to do with the fact that the processor in this phone is much faster than anything I had currently been using, and it was very apparent as I was playing Tekken Mobile. You can also expect to get a much better battery life while playing games compared to last years model. It may only be an extra hour or so but every little bit counts.
With some closing comments on our Samsung Galaxy S9 gaming review we absolutely think that its currently best in class. Playing some of the most demanding high graphic games look amazing on this phone, play very smoothly, and look beautiful on this enhanced display.
